Hit another bit of curb strip in the same neighborhood as a few days ago. This one was way more exciting!
Got my 5th Walker this year, a silver ring with onyx, and a couple of wheats, as well as around $3 in clad.
I think that puts me at 106 silvers FTY.
(Oh, and I'm not stopping just yet either)

I have been exceptionally lucky in finding Walkers, 7 total in 4 years of hunting. Twice now I've found two within a few feet of each other.

A big congrats on that Walker and ring.
It looks like I need to join the “strip club” .Are you talking about the grass strips in front of houses between the sideway and road?

Thanks MM!
Yes, while they're generally maintained/mowed by the homeowner, they're city property. I only hunt them with permission from the homeowner, unless the homeowner has let them go to weeds, in which case I help myself. Here in southern Nevada where water conservation is a big thing, the city's are actually encouraging letting them go dry.

You answered my question. That’s what I thought. The city owns those strips, but like you said, I’m sure asking the homeowner is the way to go.
Congrats on the great finds. I’m going to have to give that a try. 👍

When I viewed the big silver on the chat I didn't see the ring
.Congrats on the big silver and the ring.
You still have 9 days of hunting, so best of luck.

Back in the early 80s when you could still occasionally find a church yard that had not been hunted, I got two halves within minutes a couple of times. One of the churches had already been hunted, but with really old machines and the halves were 5-6" deep. The old machines they used would not go that deep. I got a Walker and a Franklin out of that church, and a Walker and a Barber out of another. Those are fun days!
