Another cool military relic, and more silver

Today I found this crossed-guns military item right where I found an 1890's IH cent last year. I'm not sure if the two are related. I managed to carefully bend it back into shape, so glad I didn't break it. If anybody has info on it I'd appreciate it! And heck, another silver haha!

Nice badge, glad it did not break on you, nice save there, I've had three hat badges so far I think(Think I've posted them all here in past). One is currently in a bag that got roasted in the house fire. haven't tried busting into that one yet, stinks bad. The other a army corps of engineers emblem(not sure this one was a hat badge but think it was) and the other a WWI era "Great Seal" . Love finding those historical items myself Congrats J !!
