Another coin found with Roman coins

The only reason i think it might be roman is it was found with a bunch of other roman coins in my grandmothers house. I have no idea if it was dug with the others or not.

I'm guessing Spanish colonial. A maravedi? 1600's?

Well it has a cross on it, so its def. not (western) roman in the strict sense.

While there were christian symbols post-Constantine, the cross was never used.

It could be later East-Roman / Byzantine coin, yet it really looks like a copper/ maravedi as DCMatt said.
