Ancient ?

If you look at this mountain with the notch on google earth. There is a big circle depression right on the ridge top with a big boulder in the center. I also seen a big horseshoe on the side of the mountain, looks to be a combination of stone and trees with a big boulder in center. And a lot of shadow script . Check it out on google if you have a interest.

Is that big triangle above the bear's head pointing across? Does it line up with the triangle on the other ridge?
It seems to be a landmark depiction next to the triangle on the bear's neck above the head.....looking over....to....?

If that checks out,..and in line with the bear's nose pointed down, the next step is to look for a Third point with a triangle rock at equal distance that keeps the proportion of an imaginary giant triangle. If,...that big boulder is the center of the triangle.......then BINGO

(edit...unless, that big boulder is Already in line with with the bear's nose)

(edit #2....if this is too laconic, let me know and I will fill in the gaps. If it's in line with you, take it to the end.)

I have only been there 3 times, but i think that triangle points right in the direction of that silver deposit. And if you keep going in that direction to the other mountain ridge, there is a big effigy inlaid into a boulder. Iam glad you pointed that bear out i never seen it or the othere stuff. It probably has a complete assay repot on that rock, with tonnage .

Looks like straight on east/west line from bear to mine. Bear snout is south. Here is over on other mountain top. Large circle depression ? Small circle script. Oblong circle a mistake.. Yep,the work looks familiar . Dang those guys got around.

Thanks for that info. sdcfia. I will try and do that. Interesting info. on the Horse map, thanks. Be interesting to see if those buildings and windows are built on some type of Masonic pattern. With that Confederate General hanging out in Hillsboro, there might be some good KGC stashes around. Iam gonna have to see what shows up modern Masonic wise at that town.

JJ was known to have spent time in Hillsboro, at least according to one of the transcribed tape interviews in the Silver City Library with a rancher pioneer who knew him in the Civil War days and was in a poker game with him there in the 1890s.

Speaking of JJ, he was also alleged to be a silent partner in a hotel in Silver City, where he stayed numerous times when in town on "mining business" in the 1890s. George Hearst and C. Amory Stevens were players there too. You like the Masonic connections? There are many straight lines to be drawn from obelisks, headstones, etc, of prominent folks planted in the Silver City Masonic Cemetery to "interesting places" in the nearby mountains - probably just coincidences of course.

Recollections of a Western Ranchman (Vol 2) also places JJ at the Carlisle Mine further west of Silver City near Duncan, in the 1890s, where Herbert Hoover's first job was and where Sandra Day O'conner hailed from.

Of course, all of the above is impossible because JJ was killed in St. Joseph, MO in 1882. Right?

I bet it has,…or at least ‘something’ or some kind of key message.
The bear’s back must bear the brunt. (LOL)
Between the angle of your black arrow and the angle of the bear’s snout, it seems that you may have a nice giant (invisible) Triangle in the making,…with the bear monument at the top.
This may be difficult to establish on GE, as the rest of the placed triangle monuments on the ground may be too small. That should be part of a nice boots-on-the-ground project…someday.
It would also be interesting to see what is placed inside the boundary of such triangle, and most important…what’s in the center.
You have identified some great set-ups on GE that are intriguingly familiar and the next step would be how they tie-in. The horse shoe and the boulder, the effigy, large and small circle depressions, the E to W set ups (possible on ley line) plus all or most of the symbols arrangements have a deep Masonic connotation and older.
The only bad news is that…it may be too much for one person to handle, or even a team of two. But it should make a nice week-end hobby for a well structured group of six.

I bet it wouldn't be too hard to fake your death back then, maybe a little harder for JJ. But i bet he had people that could and would help him with that. Its interesting what you brought up. It would be interesting to see what all turns up looking into that subject. Iam gonna have to keep my eyes ears open on that subject. Thanks for the info. sdcfia, if you got anything else you want to share on treasure hunting, iam all ears.

Thanks for the info.listopiedras, iam gonna look for those things. I like that it is known, that there is or was a giant silver deposit and it is known there is a giant stone monument on the mountain above it. Iam looking forward , to see what will turn up at different times out there. Lol, a well structured group of six treasure hunters, man that would be a real interesting weekend.
I think a person would really want to keep their back to the wall on one of those trips. But the #6 just may be, the right number. To find 6 well structured treasure hunters working together, now that would be a treasure in its self.

Well iam all lizard out. One for the end. This is done on a ore sample taken from underground. Id like to crush a piece and see what pans out. Na, its two beautiful and tells one heck of a story thru out perpetual time. The Lizard King.

Here's a start: ignore those who tell you they know how to find treasure.

Here's another one: there is no rulebook.

There are some decent ideas to work with however. Here's a couple: 1) If you want to find metal, by far your best chances are to look around where it is known to have been found before. 2) If you're interested in a hidden secret, the more people who have ever heard about it drastically reduce your chances of finding it.

I dont think there is a rule book either . That seem to be a Ego driven thing.

Those are both good ideals, and work out here.

I see where they mined out here, they seemed to have cached also. I think the best sites to hunt are the ones not known.

I see that Stevens guy had mines in the Burro mountains. Knights peak, and Jacks peak are on my list for camera work. Looking forward to see what the surrounding mountains look like from there. Have to see what shows up?

The Burros, Knights Peak and Jacks Peak areas certainly have bona fide mining histories. Have fun in there.

Stevens was filthy rich long before he came to New Mexico, where he owned mines in the Chloride Flats, Boston Hill, Pinos Altos, Georgetown, San Juan, Bear Mountain, Burro Mountain and Carpenter mining districts. When he died in 1921, his fortune was valued at more than a billion dollars in today's money. Interestingly, 95% of his estate could not be located following his death. What could be located was willed to his daughter, who then continued to run the New Mexico show. She divested her corporation of most of the holdings but would not release one claim group in particular until just before she moved to London and married an Egyptian prince.

Wow, thats a interesting story. That sure is a lot of wealth missing from the books. I bet there was a lot that wasn't on the books too. Interesting, sounds like some of those mines might be a storage vault. The Egyptian Prince connection is interesting too. Sounds like you know where those last holdings are.:icon_thumright:

Here is something i need to look into more sometime. I find lots of well done maps of the 33 parallel in Mediterranean sea area here in the Southwest USA. 99% of them are North of the 33 in the Mediterranean . In looking at some of their Ancient stuff online in their part of the world. I found this USA landmark in their art work in the Mediterranean sea area. I bet its North of the 33. Iam gonna have to dig deeper on this one.
