Anatomy of an Alpha Monument

thom,
yep cropped rather tight, but I am sure he was just prospecting when he snapped
this one..
maybe Oddrock has a wider shot he can post or send,
rangler
Ok Thom and rangler,

I am pretty much always prospecting. The pic in question is a recent photo I went back and took because the upside down heart (and the sideways one lower and to the right ) do not show up as good in my older pics. The older ones were taken through out the day. This one was made late in the evening w/o sunshine.
I believe this new pic will show you guys what you want to see.

Odd,
Thanks for the new view.
Add this reversed pyramid to your mix.
Needed a better view of it to be sure.
This adds a mathematical quandry to this mix. (measuring and multiplying etc...)
I will send the solution or how to solve it in an email if you want.
You too rangler.

Have a good Vet's Day all
My thanks to those who serve and have served.

Oddrock,
I see one small, carved, upside down heart; but what are all those loopy "2"s about? They're scattered over the face of the rock and the strange thing is, they look more modern that old. :icon_scratch: There's a loopy "26" next to that small carved heart. And, NO. Those numbers are not the "p" crap rangler has been writing about.

I forgot to mention this little sun / or moon god.

brent,
yea this is the spot that Thom and I were looking at...
it looks like a sideways heart with a gap down the middle, and then the "eye's I think is
what caught your eye!?.....those eyes kinda give the impression of a chimp face to the sign..
but I dont think is real , the symmetry of the heart lopes is the only thing that looks right...
a chimp face, not so much...I have seen gorillia faces, one was over 40 feet tall..at the alpha,
I have not seen a small chimp face used before...so as much as I would like to call this an
authentic face...I must dismiss it as a geoglyph..unless someone can say or show it to be
different..when it doubt, throw it out..besides that the gist of the Omega is solved, as far as I can tell.

Thom, can you pm or email the pyramid sign, I am just not seeing it

Bill, I would like to see your mark up of the number 26 and those loopy 2's, just for curiosity!

As for the sun god or moon god..cant really identify that..the sungod usually has rays coming
out of the head..moon god not aquainted with...remember, I didnt invent the P word..just trying to
make sure my th'r buddies dont fall victim to it.. as the codemakers wanted you to do...!
hope this helps those on our side,
for the others..well..
a toast - Here's to those that wish us well and those that don't well they can go to ....
rangler

O.K. here's the loopy 2s and other stuff. I marked everything easily seen and didn't mark the faint "maybes". I also tried to demonstrate what I call a loopy 2 and classic 2 as well as the flat (or squant) 6.

My bad, I forgot the photo.
It's fixed but here it is again.

Haven't seen but a few of these.
Layton has the formula from Kenworthy
in his book.
I have it as well

This is a good one to have as it is a hard one to figure out on your own.

And I forgot to mention that big black spear head with the small hole just in front of it's tip.

Re: Anatomy of an Alpha Monument - Great Post!

Great Post! Unfortunately, my dial-up won't let me do much with this. I'm hoping to move--ideally back East--but more likely, a few miles over for acceptable internet. . . .

Gorgias

gorgias,
I had that problem too when I was in my mountian cabin...
I found a dial up" excellerator" cost just a little more and it
saved all my favorite websites on their servers, and loads
them just as fast as other connections. It takes a while to
kick in, as you have to load the sites you like first time, then
from then on , it becomes tolerable , try it- only new sites
will be slow..but then it get better with use.
hope this helps

Better options are Hughes Net satellite service or a cell connection if you have cell service where you are.

Hello. I'm new here......I was hoping to learn something but, I don't see one legitimate carving. So far this thread has lent itself to confusion and exagerration. You people certainly have demeaned the intelligence and mentality of those who have come before us.

How many of you would have spent that much time carving that many bogus signs when, a few simple carvings, decoded with a document, would have sufficed?

Your ability to discern old carvings is something only YOU can evaluate. As to the question you asked about taking the time to carve many signs; that is one of the many questions we'd like to learn the answer to among many others. If you don't know anything about the signs, how can you call any of them "bogus"? :icon_scratch: How can you say this thread lends itself to confusion and exaggeration, when it is meant to help folks figure out what is and is NOT important to their projects? If you are already an expert in signs and symbols, then please enlighten us with information concerning what symbols are important and which ones are not.

I see you cant stay away , bob-a-lue? Sad really now that you have given up on treasure hunting because you haven't learned the concept of perseverance, you now are attempting a career in treasure disruption..no one here is going to believe your new nom-de-plumbs ...with 5-6 postings....

Dude you can't pretend to be a newbie then cast dispersions on the signs posted here....but then again deep thinking is not your strong point...it is you sir, that TRY to demean the intelligence and the mentality of us and those who came before us...

All you have done is allow us to add yet another transparent screen name to our IGNORE list..
growing by the way- as we all see thru the crap...anytime any of us post the hard won and solved mark or sign, the creepazoids crawl out of some moss covered rock! to try to disrupt this forum. The mods are also on to these types. If you post anymore disruptive posts I will ask them to delete your entire post..nuff said, fairly warned

I only respond once to disruptive types like you Bob, also your are on the recommended Ignore list with all members in good standing on this thread.

I only respond once after anyone is on the Ignore list
adios hombre

One tiny lesson, no one carved those bogus signs, they are mother natures' handiwork..I guess you don't read to well either..AND documents don't survive as good as rock and boulders...

My point exactly. I liken the reading of mother nature's handiwork to the reading of chicken bones, by a voodoo priestess. I don't know who bob is and I couldn't care less. He probably grew tired of reading mother nature's handiwork too.

My question was NOT answered. How many of you would sit around and make all this carving stuff? Are you accusing me of NOT being a noob? A supposition on your part and one that may be true and may not be. However, the identity you have assigned to me is inaccurate. Sooner or later, I will come to light. Since your words are burned into my quote, it will make a handy reference. Arrogance. I have read many of your posts rangler. Arrogance is the fuel for your writing.

I laugh because, the treasure books, with signs and explanations included, are out there for the purchase. Yet, here you all gather, marking those things which look like nothing of importance.

Proverbs 1:7, 15:5 and my personal fav-o-rite 18:2

For months you all muster here and mark up rocks and what-not. It is of no concern of mine that the arrogance of man go un-checked. I am not the fool which I percieve some others to be. However, it is a different topic that the ignorance of man be molested and mocked. The fools delight in themselves and the perceived knowledge that they gain. This, in itself, perpetuates ignorance. Since the most of you will not understand the translation, it is: forever fools.

Sure the mod can delete my response. If it happens, it is because there is to be no difference of opinion on this board. Deleteing my response means that only the blind are allowed to post what they see. I posted what I see. What I see isn't in the rocks.

Disruptive? You betcha. No disruptions are allowed? No second opinions allowed? Are we not allowed to see the other side of the coin? If we are to take your words, and the words of others, as the definitive truth, are we not allowed to ask WHY we should believe and for you to give the explanations to us? Of course you will ignore me. I am not one of your mushrooms. Apparently YOUR students are to say "yes sir", "no sir", "no questions here, sir".

You'll ignore me, right after you highjack quote me, and then respond to everything else I have written, except the question about who would here would carve all that stuff.

Cheez, rangler, is this guy ANOTHER incarnation of goldguru?? Let's see, which came first, goldguru? then isis; now, CCharlie. I wonder if Marc put a maximum number on how many "ignores" we can have. :icon_scratch:

Hi everybody. Hope you didn't think I ran out on you. Had hunters as company and the modem had to be replaced. No internet for a few days. Rangler -the areas that Brent circled are in the blowups . Picture quality came across less than expected. Sorry. Will try to check 120 deg later in the week. Looks like a bit of a ruckus, think I'll lay back for now till the dust settles.Jim

That's it? blahblahblah? Seems like if I were going to tell someone that 'something' is a 'sign', I would tell them what it means. However, you simply DO NOT know when to say 'I don't know'. Surely, with all these years and all these hours of experience, you would be able to offer a decipherment of these 'omega signs' and 'omega yards' and 'omega monuments'. Tell them how far to pace, which heading to use, how deep to dig, etc. etc.......

I don't recall a post where anyone thanked you for helping him/her solve a trail that got him/her some treasure. If I am wrong, please show a link that predates this reply and, I will eat my crow.

As for the rest of you. Look at your teacher. "blah blah blah" is the response. Is that how a teacher is supposed to back himself up?

If I am to believe this poster, I need to know what I am looking at. I want decipherments, interpretations, meanings. I want to know how these objects work together and how one compliments another. My math teacher can break it down. My science teacher can break it down. My history teacher breaks it down according to the lines he has been fed.

Don't any of the rest of you question the answers given to you? Do you never say, "Prove it?"

If I remember correctly, it is an infraction of the TNET rules to knowingly produce, or reproduce, false information. If we can not show evidence of information being true, then we must state so accordingly. Otherwise, the information may appear to be intentionally erroneous. Misleading the multitudes, or providing disinformation, is bad joojoo.

rangler, I'm not accusing you misleading people. There just seems to be way to much information and not enough explanation and evidence.

As far as paper documents not surviving well: smartest thing you have written in this thread so far. Does anyone think that some ancient Spaniard (or anyone else) would just create a bunch or symbols with out a document? Who would use a standard set of symbols, that lead to treasure, without assigning a proprietary meaning? Using the standard meanings would be counter productive. Who here is going to draw a heart on tree, in their local park, with that heart pointing to a triangle, and that triangle's baseline pointed right where you dug a hole and buried your wedding rings, silver coins, property deeds and/or anything else? That would be stupid. Sooner or later, someone would figure it out. And if any of you are that confident that I am full malarky, try it. Bury something with standards signs, no documents, and watch to see what happens. That's what you ALL are attempting to do to someone else's long buried t-r-e-a-s-u-r-e. Doesn't seem so realistic now does it?

Now, are we to assume that all the information we need is right there in those rocks you mark? Since, documents don't survive well? Then, if you say it is a sign, then tell us the meaning of those signs, and six pointed stars, and triangle shadow figures. Solve the mystery for us.

Or can you?

57,000 views already? I didn't see that stat.
