Around here most stuff has a bunch of mica and some mica schists have alot of gold but this is different. By the way anyone know how to dredge to a sleuce when the gold is so impure the sleuce wont catch it? Thanks Joe

Never heard of natural gold that's not pure enough to be caught by a sluice? I always thought natural gold is pretty pure to start with.

Have a fire assay done and that will answer this question. Have you assayed any of the ores yet?

What are the characteristics of the gold colored material, other than color, that lead you believe that you have gold? In nature, there are several materials that have similar color, such as mica and pyrite, among others.

the suggestion for an assay is good advice.

i used AR with SNCL2 test on a small piece

Exactly how did you test your material with your Stannous Chloride? What was the result? Please describe. Did you make your own Stannous? Was it fresh? Did you first test your Stannous Chloride on a known gold solution?

I ask these questions because they are all pertinent to the matter at hand. Knowing the answers better helps others to help you.

I made my own with tin sinkers and HCL and also bought some on ebay, both tested almost identical on my control and the sample. just small BB piece 15 drops HCL 3 drops bleach

Assay for $40 showed more silver than gold molybenite trace of palladium values totaled 8 percent weird mix

By the way I use dyed tungsten shards and flakes and drop in 3 foot tube of ease to get a quick density idea on small pieces if you can get some grind and watch the big W fall like it being shot out of a gun

Made a 20 ton press stamper for 150 harbor freight special

I have some flakes gold on one side silver on the other read about it in 1903 geology report but couldn't believe it just crazy Electrum
