Anyone got a clue what this thing is? My friend dug this last night at a local park. We think it maybe about TOC. Any help is appreciated. The back is smooth and has a number stamped into it. "2284". The color of the item is truely as it appears in my hand. I don't know why but the other one, on wood, got a strange purplish tint. Some of the writing is a little worn and hard to read in the pic. It says: "If found return to The Albany Trust Co Albany, NY". The length is a little less than the diameter of a half dollar and the width is about the size of a nickel.
