Is anyone familiar with, or have used this particular model or unit? If so, what is your opinion on it? Thanks for any info.
UIG GROUND SCANNER DETECTOR
( Link deleted for rule violation.)
It's a magnetometer. It can detect iron and, under ideal conditions, voids. But it cannot detect silver or gold. 30 meters? Maybe a steam locomotive. I would stay away from companies that misrepresent their products. Is anyone familiar with, or have used this particular model or unit? If so, what is your opinion on it? Thanks for any info.

Nothing major, just curious about something light weight and can reach a little deeper than a basic metal detector. I was a little on the skeptic side of the 30 meters anyhow. What kind of detecting are you wanting to do?
Any company saying their detectors can detect 30 meters deep, is blowing smoke. I would not waste my money buying it. Any company saying their detectors detects 100 feet can not be trusted..
30 meters is 90 feet, the fact the manufacturer says detects up to 30 meters is a major red flag. Avoid all " long distance locators" they are scams.Nothing major, just curious about something light weight and can reach a little deeper than a basic metal detector. Thanks for your info, duly noted.
I figured 30 meters was most likely a non realistic number, but even if it was accurate for 5 meters would be nice.30 meters is 90 feet, the fact the manufacturer says detects up to 30 meters is a major red flag. Avoid all " long distance locators" they are scams.
Highly recommend you talk to one of our supporting vendors, they can help you get what works best for you.

Thanks for the help, apologies if this was any distraction from the original thread.
Well I won't rush out and buy 2 of them lol. If I did purchase a gpr or magnetometer, I'd dang sure make sure it was worth it. Thanks for the info 👍15 feet is still bs unless it is maybe a tank buried. A wird to the wise, you are wasting your money if you buy it. Buy a real detector.....
I have not seen one yet, but anything is possible I suppose. Care to share the pic?Are seals (the sea animal) ever depicted in Spanish monumentation?
The pointer and direction are obvious, and could have no animal representation...but a "seal" jumps out at me.I have not seen one yet, but anything is possible I suppose. Care to share the pic?
Thanks for posting the pic. No shame in keeping your location as private as possible. Im sure as Sandy mentions the site is probably being watched. (sounds crazy but true) Personally I dont see a seal, but if it bothers you enough to photo it, then it may be something. I have found the markers to be more obvious, but I also didnt notice some of what they were depicting until a later time. Some I just knew something was bothering me, so I took pics all the way around. Then later at home I saw what was talking to me. Time in the field has helped tremendously. I also found some pretty strange things that I still dont know what they represent for sure, but they are carved and placed. The pointer and direction are obvious, and could have no animal representation...but a "seal" jumps out at me.

It has one heck of a shadow profile on it to looks like the witch.I am pretty sure it is a bird looking to the left possibly an owl.The pointer and direction are obvious, and could have no animal representation...but a "seal" jumps out at me.

Hadn't look at it from that perspectiveIt has one heck of a shadow profile on it to looks like the witch.I am pretty sure it is a bird looking to the left possibly an owl.
There is also a possible sun sign pointing right. A half arrow. They like to use arrows. Both sun and shadow.
I recently hired a GPR guy to detect an area for utilities. Very unimpressed. The technology is not there yet IMHO. And this was on flat terrain. Now we are getting somewhere. Let's get the electronics guys in here... dreams have never made my bed, but this is real, and I thank everyone posting. Let's hash it out. We need good ground equipment and why can't we see a few feet into the ground in 2025?
the rock on the left sure looks like a duck to meThe pointer and direction are obvious, and could have no animal representation...but a "seal" jumps out at me.
