si I looked like that in the 3rd grade school play --but with two bandolers not just one. ---too politically incorrect these days to do that play -- and we sang "la co ca rocha " as well. (can't sing that song these daysin school thats too insensitive to the poor mexicans --to remind them of their own history and of the grinding poverty of the peon class --exploited by the rich upper class mexicans )---this was the main reason behind the peasent revolts.

The Frito Bandito was from 1967 advertisements.

I like Frito chips, and, I liked the Frito Bandito ads.

Quite a few things went by the wayside due to PC.

I guess it's a better world, now.

Great find, non pic or not. Mi esposa es de Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She's been here about 6 years now. She was not familiar with the Frito Bandito, the Taco Bell Chihuahua, or Cheech and Chong. (Some places farther south are a little slower paced) PC aside, she thinks they're all funnier than h---! In Mexico, they have even worse stereotypes. (She thought Chong was the Mexican) That's my dos centavos worth.

We need to get you a camera, Ivan.

We need to come up with a game plan.

I`ve got a Nikon coolpix 885 that I don`t use anymore. It was a dern fine digital camera for me for many years. It has a Macro setting and even takes short movies. I would be happy to donate it to Ivan. Shipping would be a little expensive from Japan, but I am going to Texas in July for a visit. I will charge the battery and take some sample pics if you would be interested in seeing them Ivan-san.

oh david sama-- unworthy Ivan san would be most honored by such a gift ;D -- momma san has got a tight grasp due to tight money at this time --not 1 to spare yen for new camera at this time , says momma san .

people here like pictures , lots of pictures --- makes them very happy .
