If you look closely at the blue circles (silver) as you move north along the beach you can see trails of silver leading back out to sea... this happened when the winds from the storm were out of the SW and W...... Thats why Salmon said that nothing from his ship washed ashore.... it was blown back out to sea!
Remember that the 1565 hurricane blew ships inland at Pensacola into the trees — so it is quite possible that ships could be blown over the dunes easily in 1715...
The beauty of the 1715 wrecks is that we all know there are still tens of millions in bullion, incredible jewelry, emeralds and all the treasure you can dream of, right out there under the sand
Maybe the "mother load" (which I suppose you mean 1 or 2 ships that may have been sunk who knows where} is still unknown or unproven, but they are still pulling gold and silver coin and jewelry right out of the rocks and sand in less than 15 foot of water at a couple of sites from Ft Pierce to Vero that they have been working for years.
