A little help with this Button/pin? THE INTERSTATE CO,

It says THE INTERSTATE CO. on the front, it is about the size of a quarter and had a hollow cavity. on what is left on the back has SCOVILL MFG. CO. I understand that it had something to do with Blood and plasma transportation. it appears to have gilt still on it in places. it is close to a quarter of an inch thick. any other info would be appreciated. thanks. DL

wow, thanks a lot. that makes a lot more sense for where this was found, just a couple hundred yards from the Kansas City Railway tracks here in western Arkansas. very cool for sure. I knew that it was a cool find and you just made it even cooler. My grandfather retired from the KCR and my son-n-law works for them now. I see that you are from Brentwood, my wife is from Bartlett.
