Yeah that's from last year, sorry the stuff never ends.. Have stuff from 5+ years back I've never shown, and new stuff from this year. Don't know where to start, don't know where to end. But there's a lot out there to be discovered.
Anyone care to comment that it is natural? lol.

Sure not natural just wish I knew how they got it up there
Heck if I know, a lot of big rocks moved around in ancient times. I guess if you have enough slaves, which they did... you can move a mountain. Times are different. We have no comprehension of what was really possible. I'd be more than happy with a group of 5-10 friends going and digging out a site. The ancients enslaved 1000's at a time.

Print this thread out, this is basically a free book on the whole subject. The info in it whether you are for it or against it is irreplaceable in our lifetime. Just get some ink cartridges and take a few hours and print it. All of it. I can't stress this enough.

I've exported this thread and printed it as a PDF so you can store a more easily read/printable copy. It is 455 pages.

Not sure all the pictures will print though. Might be better just going from page to page.

They build a level frame structure around the steeple and dragged boulder into place; then removed frame support. Bet you'll metal detect ox shoes everywhere in immediate area. If not, man power was used. This one at Bend took a bit of effort to erect.

is this from a movie set?

compass rock omega monument (easy to see), confirmed by closed eye turtle monument (hard to see) with open mouth & eating, circled in yellow, storage/cache in immediate area

my guess is, the outcropping peak at the top of the hill/butte was the original omega, it includes a goose head uphill (circled in red) from the turtle head and outcropping is a large lion head..... do we (us, the empire, ect) agree that its all too hard to see? so the compass rock omega was added

I'll be hiking up to it in about 7 days. Probably will post findings on another thread I started as well. This thread has enough mileage atm. Would just be throwing more ideas around.

The balanced rock picture you posted from big bend, just seems to say "look on the left side of that U shaped cut in the far off mountain range".

The big boulder has the "U" cut in it with a ^ pointer below it. Long range stuff and I've seen it several times before, just done in it's own different way. The monument gives a general location long range off to head to and tells where to start looking. I wouldn't doubt there's some other angles to look from this thing though for a much closer spot.. I'll bet money on the long range one though.

Yes a Gunsmoke episode.
cyzak mentioned possibly a valley in Utah.
They did a lot of filming on a set there.

crap! Is all I can say. That about covers it from all angles. Nice effort. It reached the 20,000 character limit! It all seems like craziness to me, but good job.

Compass rock pointed at 75 degrees. There was a pedestal like place to stand on the rocky hillside off to the side of it where you could look exactly over it to a kinda blank looking spot down near the old road along creek bottom. It's pretty old. I'll post some images on my thread when I get a chance..
