Where in Missouri? And where did you find the Gold Coin around a Park, School, Old Home, Swimming Hole?

What a dream come true! After I seen your find I decided to make it a goal to find a gold coin this sesson. Thanks for the inspiration! And what kind of site did you find it at?

J.D., great find!!! I'm no expert, but that coin looks to be in at least au condition, which would make it worth at least two thousand dollars. Get it graded and let us know what you find out! Great job!! :D

JD, totally min blowing! I'd classify it AU59 8). The lady lost her mad money and fou found some glad money. ;) If it doesn't make Best Finds, Id definitely be tiffed. Congrats!

Id like to thank everyone for there nice comments :) we went back to the spot today and I found 3 more old compacts "no coins" in them though :) but we did have some nice finds and a very special one i will take pics and post it tomorrow :) jd

Could you post a full picture of the reverse.

So far from what I can see I grade it under what is bold bellow. I see little or no ware on the high points, I do see scratches that look like cleaning scratches, so being cleaned they tend to grade them at AU-50.
