A couple of nice coins before I got the boot!!!!!

Knocked on the door of an old house today and got permission to detect from the owner then about an hour and a half later his wife pulls in and walks over and tells me to get off of her property right now!!!!! I tried to explain and she told me she didn't care and to leave now!!!!! Unfortunately I was in the middle of digging a deep quarter signal. >:# Oh well at least I made a few good finds before I got the boot. The 2 center was from the last hunt. Been there. Had a woman literally scream at me when I knocked at the door, the husband told her to shut the hell up and gave me permission anyway.

Great hunt! Sounds like the woman of the house is a real.....treat. Maybe call the husband, offer him a case of beer to let you in on when she won't be home again. By the sounds of her, I'm sure the man of the house can't get enough alcohol

I have had that happen at least three times. For me it has always been the wife giving the permission and the man bent out of shape when he comes home, and doesn't it always seem like a real sweet spot with finds rolling out when it happens. Last time it happened we were hunting arrowheads and when the husband came home he was so bent out of shape he damaged his truck trying to get to us.(We were walking toward him when we saw him coming.) I later heard that guy died of a heart attack. Probably from getting so bent out of shape over nothing all the time.
Some nice finds there. Now how long are you going to wonder what that quarter signal would have been?

nice but easier idea is dress in chemical suit. When the battle axe gets home tell her possibility of radioactive metals in area and she should leave for a few hours.
