A couple of hours

We went out for just a couple of hours this morning. I walked into the water and BAM right off the bat I got a silver ring! Then the next hit took some time but it was a big hoop (cheap) earring. My daughter only found 3 pennies there. Then we went on to a 2nd beach again a short hunt. I went into the water and found another earring but again a cheap one. This one is two cherries - pink stones, and two leaves - green stones. Again a cheap one but this one is a dangly one for pierced ears. Pretty but cheap. My daughter did better at the 2nd beach. She ended up with about $1.83 in clad - total from both beaches. No jewelry. I ended up with 45 cents in clad from both beaches but at least I found some jewelry. AND she did find some feathers for the cats to play with. LOL

I actually have a question about the silver ring. It LOOKS gold but has a round circle with SU in the middle of the circle and then it says 925 Thailand on it so I guess it is silver and not gold. I did try to find a jewely mark like it on the net but didn't find one. Still I am happy.

Congrats on the good day at the beach.
Many companies plate silver to make it appear to be gold. If it is marked 925, it is probably silver.
I would not say the same for gold markings. HH Gayle

Just think how frustrated you were this time last year, and look at ya now, we all told you it would happen you just got to pay your dues and dig your quota of pull tabs and junk before you get the good stuff. Makes you appreciate it all the more when you start finding the rings and stuff. Even the junk jewelry is still appreciated.
