Thank you for viewing this thread.
I am sure someone knows what this is. Dimensions are 3/4 inch for the opening, 1 3/8 inches for the diameter of the entire width, and 5/8 inches for the thickness. There is farming and civil war behavior in the area. My guess is farming. Best, IMAG1197.jpg
 

Reminds me of part of a piece of garage door hardware - the ball bearing roller. So, maybe something like a ball bearing from some machinery?

Looks like something from a pump or valve, would've had graphite rope packing inside.
