My buddy Two Dogs,made an awesome find!!A cartridge box plate in California!We find Civil war stuff but for some reason this was something neither of us were ever expecting out here!!Congrats my friend!!!

Well, the war has been over for around 150 years so that is plenty of time for something like that to change hands quite a few times. Nice shape as I'm sure California weather is tame due to lack of rain and humidity.

congrats man... Im here in SE ohio and have hit a couple of CW relics.... very cool.. the guys in VA, Georgia.... the civil war states find alot of stuff, but those of us who arent lucky enuf to live in those states have it a bit rougher..... neat to think of how it got to where you found it.....
