Today I revisited the spot where I found 5 silver coins yesterday. I was there from about noon till 6pm. I spent about an hour looking for the homeowners lost ring which I was unable to find. But I had an exceptionally good day. My previous best day was 5 silver coins.

These are silver coins #s 21-27 FTY

Knocking it out of the park. That's how to do it. Congrats

beez, Nice Finds for braving the cold, goldnugget-charlotte

Yeah he was real brave to get out in that 70 degree cold - let's see if he gets out today - it's much worse with a high of only 64 and possibly even a slight chance of showers!

Just kiddin' Jay - you're the envy of the neighborhood!! We're root in' for ya!

Oh, I'll get out alright!!! That chilly 64 degrees and a little rain won't stop me Steve!

yo, Jay, steam coming from my ears as I sit here in the frozen Yukon tundra of upstate NY!!!!!!cartoon character of Yosemite Sam just popped into my head with his hands on both sidearms. you need to dump the Deus and buy a nice low end Bounty Hunter, save some for the rest of us. what next, a kettle full of double eagles or a sister of the Atocha in a cattle pond????????. you da'man. Rich

If you were swinging a nice ultra-light Deus you wouldn't have needed shoulder surgery....LOL

Congratulations! Awesome silver coin hunt.

Since no one else noticed, I'll tell you...that's pretty smart " not finding the owner's ring " until you clean out all the silver, lol. Wouldn't we all like to find a site like that?

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures with us

OD, what I would love is to find a site like that up in your neck of the woods. A place where instead of Barbers I'm finding seated coins, large cents, KGs, and GW buttons.

I guess I got nearly all the honey from the honey hole

Since finding 11 silver coins from what I am affectionately calling the honey hole things have slowed WAY down. I've spent another 7 hours there over the two previous days and squeaked out this lonely little guy.

I plan to go over the "hot spots" again in another frequency and program to see if I can hear any more good signals. I was also looking at a map from 1938 and it appears another house was also on the property about 300 yards away. So I plan to take a walk over there and see if I can find a concentration of signals that will let me know I've found the house and that it did exist.

But the honey hole I'm afraid has given most of what it had to give. And I am very thankful to have finally found a virgin site.

I hope the snow is nearly gone up north and ya'll can get out there and start showing us your goodies.

keep working that place beez, im sure theres more hiding in there somewhere!

I cant wait to get out, soon, im hoping for a large cent or colonial button right out of the gate at my cornfield

Way to Go Beez, I'd have to search a month to find that much silver (so far) that's going to change this year.. hehe. How much land left there to search?

I've covered every area I feel would be productive. Unfortunately they have a HUGE deck on the back of the house with no way under it (latticed in) or else I would be crawling under there swinging however I could. But I've hit all the area around the house, some of it twice. So it's probably time to find another honey hole elsewhere.
