Manufactured drama to make Obama Administration look bad.

Are the people involved able to say that their nose is perfectly clean? Probably not.

But there are countless issues to get riled up over and this just isnt one of them. I know I am not alone when I say, give it up already. Move on.

Now that the top of the line job Obummer is doing is revealing his legacy, we don't have to manufacture any dramas. Might get to the point where he's firing you guys, and you won't be getting paid for haunting these forums anymore.

Speaking for myself, I don't need to be paid to support my President.

To suggest otherwise brings up the logical question "Who's paying those attacking Mr. Obama?"

I did read that Faux News' PR staffers used as many as one hundred names and various computers to go online and stick up for their organization.

Good luck to all,

On this particular thread, there is a much deeper issue than just the abandonment and death of our people.

The fact being overlooked here is that this was squashed coming up to the presidential election, which as an event could have seriously derailed Obama winning a second term.

It is spelled COVER UP! In historical terms, this is far more serious than what Richard Nixon did - lest we forget the facts here.

and anyand anyone who can't see this is in denial! !!
Nixon was Mother Teresa compared to this dictator .

I have a long roster of things I like about Mr. Obama. He has accomplished a great deal. I think he ran for President too early. But one must take such opportunities when they are presented - they may not return.

Our system of government can't work if we fail to get behind the winner of each election. That's essential. Newt Gingrich introduced the modern concept of a political opponent being a mortal enemy of America. Read the GOPAC language memo. This was a terrible contribution to politics - and one reason I was so happy to see him humiliated in 2012.

What has the Republican Party done to improve our country since 2008? Complain, whine, lie, obstruct, refuse to cooperate, act like children at another kid's birthday party is about it.

Compromise is not a dirty word if one seriously cares about solving our many problems and making our country and our world a better place.

Good luck to all,

I am more than a little insulted with your implications there buddy.

I don't agree with you at all.
You say he's accomplished a great deal,
I just don't see it.
Me I cant stand by a president who perverts my constitution.

Ambassador Stevens twice said no to military offers of more security, U.S. officials say
Published: May 14, 2013
By Nancy A. Youssef — McClatchy Foreign Staff

CAIRO — In the month before attackers stormed U.S. facilities in Benghazi and killed four Americans, U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens twice turned down offers of security assistance made by the senior U.S. military official in the region in response to concerns that Stevens had raised in a still secret memorandum, two government officials told McClatchy. Why Stevens, who died of smoke inhalation in the first of two attacks that took place late Sept. 11 and early Sept. 12, 2012, would turn down the offers remains unclear. The deteriorating security situation in Benghazi had been the subject of a meeting that embassy officials held Aug. 15, where they concluded they could not defend the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi. The next day, the embassy drafted a cable outlining the dire circumstances and saying it would spell out what it needed in a separate cable.“In light of the uncertain security environment, US Mission Benghazi will submit specific requests to US Embassy Tripoli for additional physical security upgrades and staffing needs by separate cover,” said the cable, which was first reported by Fox News.Army Gen. Carter Ham, then the head of the U.S. Africa Command, did not wait for the separate cable, however. Instead, after reading the Aug. 16 cable, Ham phoned Stevens and asked if the embassy needed a special security team from the U.S. military. Stevens told Ham it did not, the officials said.

OB, I can absolutely agree with what you said here. The Republican Party has done nothing for us. It is ALL corruption abounding in DC.

But in an earlier post, I think you were referring to Obama when you said "my president". That is where you and I do disagree. Just what can you point to that he has done to improve this nation ???

Race relations ???
Economy ???
Security ???
Health Care ???
International relations ???
Education ???
Energy ???
Taxation ???

This list could go on and on, but I am wondering where you find anything at all which has helped this country. Maybe for you needs, but I'm not impressed with ANYTHING this rank amateur has done - except the way he has divided this nation - I'm impressed with his handling of that beyond belief!

Help was sent right away. One of the four Americans killed was part of that team.

Should more have been done? Does it make sense to send people into an unknown situation (assuming they were available, and so far all the evidence is they were not)?

Have you read Sec. Gates' comments on this situation? He stated some people have a "cartoonish" vision of the US Military. I would add - this wasn't an episode of 24.

Mr. Obama's speech on American race relations during the 2008 campaign was excellent. I don't think it is his fault that he has been attacked because of his race.

When he took office in January 2009 we were losing over 800,000 jobs per month. We are now gaining some 130,000 per month and have been for about 36 months. I see that as an improvement.

During Mr. Obama's first term we had the greatest reduction in Federal income taxes for working middle-class families. Taxes are the lowest they have been in decades.

The Federal deficit has been cut in half.

We are no longer trying to run two wars Enron-style - off the books. Mr. Obama in February 2009 eliminated several accounting gimmicks that were used by the Bush Administrations to hide the fiscal truth from the American people.

The roster of accomplishments is a long one. Those are just a few.

Good luck to all,

~The Old Bookaroo
