Searches of Jewish homes were calculated to seize firearms and assets and to arrest adult males. So packer, lets look at an alternative history where the Jews still had there guns. Tell me how it plays out? They form a big massive army in Germany and take over the country? What was the armed jewish population compared to the police and military of Germany. Now you probably do not know that in the beginning most jews just thought they were being interred in forced labor camps and not be rounded up for extermination. Even at the camps they did not know their fate until gas came out of the showers instead of water - you know this. And obviously no one is publishing stories in the paper or spreading the word - right. So when the knock came at your door you would have been guns blazing guaranteeing the death of you and your entire family?? Do you think Japanese and german Americans being rounded by the US should have resisted with lethal force?? They could have ended up getting exterminated too - right?? Look at the gov history with the native Americans and camps.

I know the nazis disarming the jews is a standard piece of gun propaganda but you need to take a step back and think it through. The argument is not a good one at all and breaks down very very quickly with any thought put to it. I studied prewar nazi germany in school. It's not as simple as the propaganda makes you think - it never is. And frankly it is a little bit insulting the all that died in the holocaust.

Thank you for saying it stocky! Why do these threads always come back to Hitler and Nazis? I feel it is insulting as well to their memories as well.

Gun debate will always go back to countries that disarmed their people....

Why are some people so willing to surrender the rights and freedoms of their children, grand children and those to follow them.... What happens when one day your grand child asks you to tell them about when we use to have freedoms and the right to protect ourselves......................

I was not referring to Hitler youth. I was referring to Nazis taking guns away from certain people and how they were controlling guns and who had them. Is that a FACT or not? They had an agenda. If they didn't think they needed to take their guns away, why did they do it? I want you to note that I said nothing at all about a Jewish resistance would have been successful. I also said absolutely nothing about anyone being a socialist but your knee-jerk reaction is to automatically protect your beloved leader. You said in your response, " Like claiming he is a socialist in the pocket of big business". Where in the world did that come from if not an auto-protect HIM reaction. He wasn't even part of the discussion but we all know who you meant..............HIM. You weren't talking about Hitler or God right?

Let me tell you, you may not know what you would do, from your postings I can venture a guess, but I know what I would do, and I venture to say every single American military vet knows what they would do too...

I have already put myself in harms way, I did it 10,000 miles from home, I did it try to defend the freedoms of a people who could not defend theirselves , I would not have a problem doing it from my back yard...

Packerbacker: Actually, wetting ones pants is associated with a parasympathetic response. The body has two types of responses in these situations: parasympathetic and sympathetic. Sympathetic nervous system is what happens in a fight situation: pupils dilate, heart rate increases, blood pressure goes up and blood flow shifts away from the Gastrointestinal/gentiourital to the limbs, hands, and feet so we can be sharpest in times of fear. Parasympathetic is the response that happens when the sympathetic shuts down and the body returns to normal. A common fallacy is that one will wet their pants in a fear situation. The wetting of ones pants occurs when the fear abates and the parasympathetic returns body to normal function. So, if the boy wet his pants during interrogation then that would mean he was scared but stopped being scared and hence wet his pants.

Have no idea what you just said, but I can assure you that on a July night in 1973, near Boerne, Texas, me and four friends got jumped by a 7-8 foot hairy creature of some sort, which made us deathly afraid and resulted in our peeing in our pants somewhat and calling for mommy...
