2 more 2 centers today, total 5 off of the same homestead so far!

Got out to the site that I found 3 1865 2 cent coins yesterday and was able to add 2 more to the the total found on the same homestead, no other coins found only 2 cent ones and the ones that I can make a date out on are all 1865 kinda different that there is no pennies or small silvers, did find a couple of small buttons and alot of shotgun shell head stamps. Two on top are todays finds.

It’s almost like someone hated those 2-cent coins and tossed them away?🤔 Only made 8 yrs from ‘64-‘72. It looks like ‘64 and ‘65 were the big production yrs with 19.8 mil and 13.6 mil. It was downhill after that. Only 65K made in ‘72. They were obviously unpopular and the mint “got it” after only 2 yrs.

Nice ! Man ! I wished that I lived near old farms or in the N / NE . I have never dug a 2 cent piece or a LC / Copper for that matter
