Congratulations! My guess you did not notice the cold when you saw silver in that hole. Silver always makes it worth the effort. Nice digs!

Your right it warmed me up everytime I find silver or gold It gets me pumped for staying out longer!!!!!!!!

Congratualtions on the silver! :occasion14:

"I get it"! Although most of my friends and family think I have a problem. :dontknow:

Oh, by the way, I was out in the cold and swift winds today! Probably not one of my better decisions, but I did sooth the detecting beast with a few finds. :icon_thumleft:

Nice coin for such a cold day

I bet it felt good just getting out? I'm glad you found some good stuff, congrats.

You need to change your moniker to A2hardcore!!!

Congrats for the courage, and the Merc!

I like the determination of getting out in that freezing cold and getting some silver! Well done sir! .........I froze my butt off in a tank in Germany for 3 years....so I know the pain...

That's my kind of winter time hunting - nice finds! :occasion14:

Tommy, you are bitten bad. I understand that the ground wasn't frozen so you took advantage of the moment. Looks like you made out pretty well with those finds. I'd have had 5 layers on and my face covered in that temp. along with thicker gloves.

I'm with ya Tommy. I've been out in temps like that and found less than you did on your hunt. My logic was if I had to work outside in it for 30 years of my life, then I could go out and play in it to. A lot of times the parks with heavy leaf cover and East West facing slopes, the ground would not freeze. If so, then I had my pick with me !

Good Outing. I get it. Like sitting on a bucket in the middle of a frozen lake with midget rod, staring at the line with icicles growing on it. Hopefully with a few stiff fish lying next to you in the snow. Good time. We are bent, like that fork.
