Well if you’re ever in New Orleans I’ll bring you to a park that has them. I averaged 2 a month last year I found more V’s then buffalos.

Sounds good to me, I am always looking for a new vacation spot!! That would be a expensive v nickel:occasion14:

I am glad I am not the only one..hahaha Last week I went with some friends and my friend came up behind me about 5 feet to the left and dug one just barely to the side of where I had just been..:tongue3:

I've had milled gold coins, but really want a Hammered gold coin or Celtic gold.

spanish silver of any denomination.
us gold coin of any denomination
a state copper
half cent
silver dollar

That's not as crazy as it sounds, my local park has a Norman Motte from around the 1200's in it, but we can't detect parks here, 'health and safety' and every other reason they can think of to put us off!

Sad, but I'll be honest.
1 cent (any)
5 cent (any)
10 cent (any)
25 cent (any)
$1.00 (any)
I have much better luck with jewelry and relics, for whatever reason. Honestly though, I've never even heard of some of the things you all are talking about. Maybe 2018 will shine for me. Thanks for your pity and your educational posts.

Apparently, I have done well in my (4) years in the hobby, as I actually HAVE some of the coins on these bucket lists. man, that feels good.

The only thing I complain about NOT finding is a seated coin. I would love to have a gold coin, but I don't believe that is realistic. Seated IS realistic, and I really want to find one. I got Spanish & Capped, but no seated...

Thanks for the post.

1) - seated dollar
2) - seated quarter
3) - 2 cent
4) - trime
5) - half dime

Fun!..ok, I’ll play....
1) Barber Half....
2) Don’t know
3) Don’t care
4) Don’t ask
5) Don’t tell

I really really really really really want to dig a Barber Half.

I did it last year 1900 8” down Black patina.....weirdest thing modern playground and never even found a wheatie after that. I’ve been back there and barely even clad. Still has me scratching my head.

I'd have to think. Found lots on the lists posted, but some were as long as 20 years ago. And for most, I only have one. I like the old stuff, anything after 1865 I consider "modern". I'd like to find some state coppers. I only have (if memory serves, one Virginia Halfpenny.) Never found Spanish gold, that would be awesome. I do have one English gold guinea I found 6 years ago I think tomorrow or Sunday, it's posted here somewhere. Would love really early US silver anything, but who wouldn't? In the last year I got several hammered coins here in the US. Four Spanish maravedis in copper, two tiny Roman whatzits probably offloaded from bilge the WWII ships returning home dumped, a Queen Elizabeth I shilling, a James I "thing", I forget. I found a fake Netherlands daadler, oh well. It had me going for awhile. State coppers are probably most doable from my list, but I just don't get them. I'm not really good on coins.

Morgan dollar
Seated quarter
Gold Coin
Large Cent
Spanish or Mexican Silver

My 5 coin bucket list contains coins that should be in my area of Ohio. I would be stoked to dig anyone of these.

Flying Eagle Cent, Classic Head Large Cent, Trime, Seated Half Dime, and a Capped Bust Quarter

2017 gave me 3 bucket listers in 2 finds.
