4 Rings in da hole!

I hit a park the other day that I had never hunted. The coins coming up (1980's quarters and nickels) at 2-3 inches deep told me that this park had not been hunted recently. This told me that there must be treasure buried nearby! After about 25 minutes, my VX3 started giving off strong signals in the 60-70 range. I carefully pinpointed the target and dug up 4 rings! BOOM! 3 silver and 1 costume in 1 hole (2 bobbie pins as well). After about 2 hours I also had a pocket full of clad. I will have to go back and carefully sweep for deeper targets. Nice way to end 2014. Happy and abundant hunting for 2015!

That's fun! I once found a bunch of similar things in an area about 3' around. It was near an old tree trunk depression. It had a couple of kids rings, sterling, a junk kids ring and three buttons that would have looked like shiny coins back in the 30's.. I think they were a kid's buried treasure. Maybe that's what you found? Nice!

WOW...I think that is the first RING spill I have ever seen!...lol...I've had plenty coin spills in every denomination, Hot Wheels spills...but never a ring spill! Congrats what a great way to up the ring count at the year's end...thx for sharing...ddf
