I started 2010 thinking I probably wasn't going to be able to match my copper totals of previous years, so instead set my sights on finding some Rev. War relics. Totally failed there- in fact, not sure that I dug any War of 1812 relics, either. The coppers, on the other hand, came fast and often early on in the year, and then pretty much disappeared the last few months. It was a streaky year, I suppose, but they were pleasant streaks for sure!
Relics first:
1. seal
2. trade weight, I reckon...
3. iron toy from early 1800's site
4. lead weight or trade bead, I've heard it told both ways
5. my best whatsit
6. morels
7. 20th cent. lead soldiers, brakeman hat badge
8. F.O.E. pin
9. probably William Jennings Bryan campaign button
