$350 metal detector

Mighty AP, I know my White's Coinmaster had a depth finder, and I found it very helpful. I know I will need a pinpointer. I had all that stuff back when I was treasure hunting, but sold it all in a garage sale after my husband died. I guess I felt like I was too old for treasure hunting. But I'm in good health and still pretty spry for an 80 yr old, so maybe I have a few years to enjoy yet. ;D

I do need a lightweight detector, though, because I broke my right arm about a yr and a half ago, and don't have the strength in it I used to have.

Hey Shirl, heres a link to TinyTec..............

Click on CHECK OUT FACTORY DIRECT SALES FROM HUNTERS HAVEN ENTERPRISES
You should see them for $39.99 in stock. My girl has one & she loves it, has a better warranty than Whites Bullseye2, has adjusable sensetivity, not bad for $40! Good starter probe. Good luck & happy hunting! Dont forget to post pics of your finds in the TODAYS FINDS forum!

Shirl, the only difference between the Prizm2 & 3 is that the 3 has a depth meter on it, something I like to have. I have a buddy who claims he doesnt look at the depth on his machine, I find it would be difficult to find stuff without knowing the approximate depth. A lot of people here love the Ace250 & are probably cringing that I am recomending a Prizm but bottom line, they are very good & capable detectors and much, much lighter weight than the Ace250. I also recomend you get a handheld pinpointer, TinyTec sells decent ones online for around $40, I'll try to find a link & post it here for you. Any Questions at all? This is the place to ask, so many freindly, inteligent people who love to help. (Im freindly but the jury is still out concerning my inteligence! lol) ;D

while i do highly recommend the ace 250, whites machines are also extremely high quality. you really cant go wrong on this one.

Thanks a lot for your help, I will check out the website right now.

Just found a 14K mens ring with ruby with an ACE 250. I also own a GTP 1350 and can't decide which one I like best.

Hi,

Please read my post on my experience with White's Customer Service. I think it will help you make up your mind!

Hi Mike, I read your post , wow, that was great service, and good to know. I've pretty much decided to get a Prizm III. Thanks for the input.
