So I understand that the ICMJ went out of business under Josh's helm (sad, cool old magazine)....but is his other business where you pay to access his claims on the up and up? Just want to know if others have used this service and what their opinions were. Not looking to buy claims, only to pay for access to the claims.

So sad but expected

Seeing as he has a history of jumping peoples, including forum members claims and selling them to unsuspecting new prospectors I would be leery of anything he offers.

No matter what Scott Harn was rewarded in the end, he did so much for the mining community. I wish him and his family the best as for the idiot that bought the magazine, you got what you deserved. It's sad to see the end of something or the ending of a special person in your life but as my mother told me before she passed, Life Must Go On.

Years back the gpaa had a gold show in St. Joe ,Missouri in which I attended and volunteered to assist the PLP both for the event and I also volunteered to give Scott a 1 1/2 hr. break for lunch and a time to sit for awhile ! YEP it's a real shame this GREAT publication is gone . :coffee2:

I used to have a subscription to the ICMJ when I was a greenhorn…I found that most of the advertisers in it were a bunch of low down dirty dealers…I believe I’ve mentioned the assayer in Sacramento I call Soapy Smith who had wire gold specimens on display that he got out of 4.86 lbs of ore I gave him for my first assay ever…And there were a couple of other advertisers I dealt with who were bottom feeding scum as well…Although they did have very informative articles at times…And IF I had not had the bad dealings with those people I would not know what little I know now…✌
