'34 peace dollar and '43 walking

So I found a web site that shows a worn peace dollar isn't worth much, but the walking liberty looks pretty good to my untrained eye. My question is, where would mint mark be on the '34 half? Can't see one, maybe doesn't have? Details are pretty good, it has a "thumb" visible. thanks for any help, new at this.

The mint mark, either a D or S, is on the reverse, near the edge directly across from the eagle's right claw. It was in that spot on all the Walkers, except for the 1916 and some of the 1917's, when it was on the obverse below In God We Trust. You should get yourself a Red Book and study up on these things, so you don't get taken by these unscrupulous coin dealers and auction houses. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, did you mean the eagle's right, or my right when looking? There's something just under the tail on my right edge. Anyway, some scruffy guy came in the tavern about a year ago and sold me these two for seven dollars, figured that's what they're worth, never looked them up. about right, but they are pretty, wish I had dug them up, he likely stole from someone. Thanks again.

It is at about the 7 o'clock position on the reverse near the edge.

I would be more interested in the 34 peace dollar, if it has and "s" mint mark, it's a semi key date, and a good one to have. (worth $25-30) even if it is pretty worn.

the mint mark on the peace dollar is between the "O" in the ONE and the tail of the eagle on the back of the coin. It's pretty small so get out your magnifying glass. Plus, there was also a 34 D, so you want to make sure, if there is a mint mark, it's either a "D" or "S".
