Kuger ,.WOW !! .......But I hope your good friend is doing good . You know , BIG GOLD is but a curse in disguise , As you’ve said “your friend is having some trouble [selling] this 22 oz’er” . And even to a point with my buddy and my....... HIS nugget , he had a few nutty idea’s after , ... I think they have been worked out ?? . But even in Bulletin 193 , page 9 , a related story of a frenchman who found a $ 8,000 nugget [18??] and quote; “The discovery of this nugget proved to be a great misfortune , for the finder became insane the following day and was sent to Stockton” .
Yes sir , Big Gold is a curse in disguise ,.... I personally, would like to “clean-up” are state of these “Great Misfortune’s”,...don’t need any more insane people out here ....... ;D

:tongue3: Man can you imagine digging that beauty up, would be the find of the week....LOL

Has he tried the Golden Nugget Casino? I understand they have bought large nuggets. 61 pounder from Australia for One Million Dollars!

They may like an American one. Ought to get at least 25-35K for it anyway.

wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! spectacular ,thanks for the pic kugar.

Yes,it is impressive, pics really dont do it justice.Big gold is a curse of sorts....I know it well, having it is a liability, and it turns good people bad or the bad in people out. Then when trying to move it everybody wants it for nothing,he has turned down $28,000 already, not considering anything less. The fact that "Big Gold",from Calif,is scarce as most all of the big stuff from the Gold Rush is gone, holds added value as well.We are going to contact John Ascuaga(owns the Nugget Casino)I know him personally.

Definitely going to take someone with deep pockets who just wants to possess it.
I wish your friend well, and hope Mr. Ascuaga falls in love with it, as we all have.

That was a keeper...you should see the ones that they throw back because the're too small...

One thing for sure, that potato size hunk has been in the water rolling around for some time. Can you imagine what it looked like before it broke loose from the mother lode...
