2016 Spanish, French, British colonial silver year end wrap up. Mostly recent finds.

Thank you for that info and that collection of yours is extremely inspiring.

Congrats on some wonderful finds this year! We're getting locked down and frozen here in northern VT as well. HH in 2017 as well sir!

No gold coins, no gold jewelry. The closest I came to gold was a Victorian gold gilded pin.
OK, I believe it won't be too long before you go over one.

What a great group of silver-congrats on a great year of detecting

What rarer than your avatar?

Yes. You're right. Those 3 French are much rarer I believe, especially the Charles VII. I sure hope to have the same luck next season.

Silvers like that are what dreams are made of. What a fantastic year you had!

Best Wishes,

Buck

You have had the best year of anyone I know, or even that I have seen post and it was done with a combination of both exceptional coins and relics... which to me is the best when you have both! I'm guessing it will be tough to beat in 2017, but the great thing is I bet you have a pretty big find coming at some point and that does make up for a lot.

Thanks man! I sure hope something nice is coming in 2017!

True.
I have kind of forgot to give out the big congrats to the OP, but I'm sure he knows he doesn't need it with a year like that.
However, like you state, to improve on that next year or even to sail on an even keel is the indicator of someone at the top of their game. To constantly break 1000 Roman Coins a year, when ever year there is 1000 less to find, reminds you that your doing something right. So I'm sure if the OP can get even close to this next year he will be happy with his strategy.
