Beauty! What is the lithic? Is the brown part a remnant of the cortex? Great find, congrats

Looks like it was the orginal cortex almost like a stack they couldnt get around so they just left it. Made for some nice color
 

Nice finds that's a really sweet point ..... That's a good hunt to end the drought you were in .... Hopefully it kicks off a hot streak

Put a little oil on it so the flaking will show better and the true color to. It dried out and went dull like they will do. I have heard Savannah River and also Bakers Creek and 1 said Dalton. The base isnt flaked looks almost ground but I will let the experts decide on it. Any help on the type would be great. I will be entering it in the next contest for PSAS so a type would be wonderful, thanks
