First off only one of the spanish was found by me.

With new ideas not panning out Navy Dave and I went back to a spot we were to recently that had a lot of old pottery shards lying around.

He gets a copper, I get a copper, then he calls me over, and drops this coin in my hand. It was quite an awesome sight, something I had never found, and wanted badly. A spanish 2 reales, and in very nice shape.

I though well that's it might as well go home now, but wait a minute, or in this case about 15 minutes, I get a high tone about 88 on the omega in the valley between two rows. I dig down and retrieve a clump with a silver edge. No way I thought...could it be another ? So I called ND over for the reveal, and turned on the camera. The video is only 42 seconds and worth a look. Sure enough 2 spanish 2 reales in not more than 15 minutes. 5 years I waited for my first Spanish Silver, and it was quite the rush, I think you can tell from the video.

We got some other oldies you can see in the pics. we each got a small bell, mine is broke, I got what I think is a glass button ? ND got what 5 coppers. He siad it was his best coin day ever. His 1719 is a beauty.
