Hello everyone!

Today is the first day of my vacation time ~ I'm taking off all week! But I didn't detect today as long as I planned to ~ it was actually kinda hot in the sun today! I managed to detect for about 4 hours. The last two target that I dug today were the Silver quarter & silver dime. I figured a two silver coin day was a success, so I packed up and went home. Here's what all I dug today:

1935-S Washington quarter
1935-S Mercury dime
15 wheat cents ~ '19, '25-S, '29-S x2, '40-S x2, '41-S x2, '42-S x2, '45-D, '45-S x3, & '53-S
4 clad quarters
13 clad dimes
4 modern nickels
51 Memorial cents
Silver Feather-shaped earring

The 1935 25c is my silver coin find #23, and the Merc dime is my silver coin find #24 for the year. I took pic's of the silver coins before and after I cleaned them up.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Neil,

Nice job on the silver, and pretty cool that they were both 35-S. This hobby is full of little surprises. The silver Washington still eludes me for some reason, but I have high confidence that this year I'll find one.

Hot down here, too. I got out to detect the worlds trashiest old townsite (six or seven homes, a hotel, and more iron in the ground than dirt). Got the classic MD-er sunburn....the back of my neck is fire-engine red!

Enjoy your vacation, and show us some more great finds!
