Hello everyone!

Today is the first day of my vacation time ~ I'm taking off all week! But I didn't detect today as long as I planned to ~ it was actually kinda hot in the sun today! I managed to detect for about 4 hours. The last two target that I dug today were the Silver quarter & silver dime. I figured a two silver coin day was a success, so I packed up and went home. Here's what all I dug today:

1935-S Washington quarter
1935-S Mercury dime
15 wheat cents ~ '19, '25-S, '29-S x2, '40-S x2, '41-S x2, '42-S x2, '45-D, '45-S x3, & '53-S
4 clad quarters
13 clad dimes
4 modern nickels
51 Memorial cents
Silver Feather-shaped earring

The 1935 25c is my silver coin find #23, and the Merc dime is my silver coin find #24 for the year. I took pic's of the silver coins before and after I cleaned them up.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Congrats on some nice finds!  You left when the last two targets you dug were silver?!? You have more will power than I do. There's no way you could have drug me out of there at that point! ;D

I hope this is just the beginning of your silver finds for the year.

HH,

Dr. Ace

Neil, that's great to find silver on first day of vacation!

...and HOT, in Eugene? Wow!

It was pretty warm here, down south, also...
But that's not my excuse for only finding about 40 cents in clad! ;D

Enjoy your vacation!

JACKPOT!!! You had some good fortune today
and the silver quarter and silver dime look in real
good shape. Congratulations OC on a great hunt.
I didn't go so maybe later on this week.

really nice finds

Great job on the silver, I would have to agree with Dr. Ace though, I would have beenthere for the long haul after finding those two coins. Unless it was private property, then I would know that the silvers were safe till the next day of hunting.

HH,

Dave

Hey Neil,

Man was it how down here in S. Cal today too!! It was over 100 degrees with a 7% humidity in most areas. :'(

Yeah, if I would have dug two silver on my last two digs of the day, I might have stayed a little longer too, but in heat like this, I would be happy to get any silver.

Congrats on your finds, and have a great detecting vacation! Drink plenty of fluids!!
