Hi, sorting through grandparents belongings and have found a 1920 dime, s mint. Reverse is rotated about 175 degrees from obverse ie. When I flip it over the reverse is almost upside down. I live in Scotland - can anyone advise if this makes it more valuable or recommend someone local? Many thanks

Rotated die coins are fairly common, but, yours is pretty dramatic, so, it would probably have some extra value. How much? Try to find something similar that is for sale or sold to get an idea.

Thank you - I have spent several hours trawling the internet but can’t find anything similar. It’s almost 180 degrees inverted.

Can't say for sure (can't see well enough), but you may have a counterfeit there.
Easily identified by "IN COD WE TRUST". COD not GOD.

The "G"s on the genuine Mercs are sans serif (no horizontal line), but this one looked more like the "C" examples.

I'll defer to better eyes/more experience.
I looked at the examples of a regular Mercury Dime and the one shown and it's still hard to figure out.
Here is another view of a "G"

Yup, that's exactly what I meant. The Gs look flattened on the bottom; the Cs do not.

I can't tell if the OP's dime looks flattened or not. 🤓

Kind of looks like a stubbed end.
