1880's Central Glass Co. diamond pattern vaseline glass compote

Picked it up earlier today. It's one for my display collection & wont be going for sale! It's not crazy valuable anyhow at about $50-$60. I got it for $7.50 & the diamond pattern looks awesome, way better looking than the daisy & button pattern many pieces of that time had!

Nice. I hear you about the daisy & button, a popular pattern for sure. Here's a slag chunk of vaseline I have. Just wanted to share because I know you love this stuff. I've had it for a little while-

Nice dig! I love it! I also have some slag chunks 1 is a 4.5Lb chunk of custard glass, 1 is an 8.5lb chunk of vaseline glass that isn't exactly clear it's transparent but its got a mild "milky" type look almost like the opalescent effect but it's inside the glass not on the outside. Last is a 2 pound chunk of white with baby blue swirls (the blue swirls are UV reactant). I do have another huge chunk of a brick red colored glass with hints of black in it (not UV reactant tho).

This is actually my favorite piece of slag, weighs right under 7lbs. I think it is marble tank glass, so the consensus says-
