Got out to my hot spot today for a few after the rain this morning. Few more buttons that makes 12, large cent number 2 but can't make out the date, Indian number 6 no date, and my first 3 cent 1851. This is my 5th or 6th time to the same stop. It's just a tiny little spot near a cellar hole the rest of the area is all grown in. the last time I was there I only found 1 button so I thought I had cleaned it out but after today I guess not. Looks like I'll be going be goin back soon. can't wait till fall to see what's on the other sides of this place.

Great find, I wish you luck on your return.I have a few cellars holes I am going to hit this winter also, cant wait.

That 3 cent piece is cool. I like that star on the back. Keep digging!

I've found only one of these coins and it was in pretty good shape. For some reason, I do love this coin.

Good job!

HH!

I think people (detectorists) like these coins as they are VERY hard to come across. Many diggers will never find one.

The one I found has a hole, and had a signal of a pull tab @ 6 inches deep.

Sounds like a great site, and no doubt there is another keeper there waiting for you. Good luck in the fall.

WOW!! That is SO NICE!!!
It's on my wish list...

Joe

Great find! I wouldn't wait until fall......I'd be there with a weed whacker this afternoon!
