1832 CAPPED BUST 5c SILVER!!

Yippy- This is my oldest silver to date. It was about 7 inches in the hole when I saw it. Unfortunately I couldn't help but rub the dirt off to see what the heck it was because I had no idea. I thought is was some kind of train token, as you can clearly see I scratched it-bummer. Found the indian head in the same area. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful coin man.

I never rub a silver in the field. Or never for that matter. We all have scratched a silver in our time though. It happens and it sucks. Sometimes the suspense gets to you I know. I dug a beautiful barber dime the other day. Wanted to see if it was a seated. But I waited till I got home and found out I had just another common barber. But it was in great shape.
