Liberty Cap Bust...shortened it to Liberty Cap. The people I dig with all call it a liberty cap. I know some that call it cap bust...like the hoagie and sub, depends on where you're from.

The coin database also refers to it as Liberty Cap.

Yes, the "hits" were from almost 200 years on that farm field...but beautiful in my book. Not sure any coin looks its best after all that time getting hit by plows lol.

LOL Thanks! Yep, I didn't clean it with baking soda, she'll stay this way forever. I think the patina adds to a coin. When I first started detecting, I cleaned a bunch of 1/2 real and liberty cap bust dimes. I regret that now.
