Never did I dream of finding a liberty cap half, crazy!

That's definitely a find of a lifetime. Not too many people will find one of those! Incredible coin and I would say that's in great condition. Nice work!!!

Super piece of big silver, congrats Ken C. I kind of chuckled when you said your digging buddies there called them "Liberty Cap" Halves. There's nothing wrong with that, of course. I'm just jealous of anyone living in an area where more that one person has experience digging a "Liberty Cap" Half!

Actually, this was the first half. We've found a bunch of Liberty Cap (bust) dimes and half dimes. Living in NJ does have it's benefits when it comes to detecting. However, I'm jealous of those guys up North with the Pine Tree Shillings! LOL
