Hello Everyone,
I had the pleasure to detect my Central RI Farm field again and wasn’t disappointed. I found some relics and a few silvers, but the find of the hunt was a 1787 New Jersey (Nova Caesarea) Colonial Copper. Amazingly the coin was found 100 feet from where I found the 1783 Nova Constellatio copper (posted 10/27/17 on Tnet).
I was using the Minelab Explorer SE, wide open screen, Discrimination=none, Sensitivity=27 Auto.
If I have some time, I will take and upload some photos of the other keepers.
If anyone can identify (it's a bit toasty, they always are where I hunt) the type and rarity, I would greatly appreciate the information.
Thanks for looking,
GL & HH
