14K Gold Ring at Pensacola Beach

I found this a few days ago as I was on vacation.
I only got to metal detect one day which was fine, but found a nice mens gold ring.
7.58g. 14KY.
It was near the Days Inn along Pensacola Beach.
It's such a thrill to see it appear in the basket.
It was in high dry sand about 6" deep.

please don't take this the wrong way
you went on vacation, detected ONE day and found a gold ring?

I hate you

for the past 4 years I go on vacation to beaches and detect for hours each day
I have yet to find a gold ring anywhere!

HAHA, don't worry, you'll find it and many more.
I can't tell you how many hours I have detected with nothing, no iron, no pull tabs, nada.....
It's frustrating when you see others pull stuff out of the ground......
The only thing I can guarantee is my back always hurts the next day....
