1270 Hip mount

Looking for a hip mount for my 1270 or I might have to make. If so anyone know how to remove the handle from the case, 1265X was easy but don't want to screw up the warranty 1270.

Good hearing from you to, what have you been up to, made a hip mount for the 1270 sure took the weight off now I'm doing a Raincover for it. have to post some pic's.

So how was this constructed. I have a 1270 here but need to get the weight down.
