Wow, 2 basket ball courts? I like to hunt around them also. Do pretty well. Looks like a good place to hunt. Did you get your coil fixed?

On the 6" Blue max which was broken last week, I used superglue and tape. I'll be buying a coil cover later this month. I didn't hook it up the coil to the detector yet but think it will work since the circuitry is intact.

I gave my coil a rest and used the 9.5" stock coil which produced for me in this hunt. The open field was relatively clean. Out of 120 objects managed, I recall only 4 targets being pull tabs or foil. Not bad, huh?

Very good! Did you have them noched out? I hav'nt ever put my large coil back on after putting on the 5.3 blue max. Love the way it pinpoints.
Stay away from those pesky tree's!
Steve///

I strongly agree with you. That 5.3" Blue max makes it a snap in pinpointing. There have been many times the target ends up in my first scoop, exactly the spot, the detector claims it to be... Hard to go back to the 9.5" stock where the sweet spot is NOT centered. It's off to the lower left inside of the donut ring for me.

Nice finds...noticed a small amount of nickels and wondered if you just didn't find many or alot of pulltabs?? Noticed the silver gings and wondered if a gold one might be hiding out there?? Great totals tho!!

Didn't get too many nickel/ring target indicators at this school. When I do get them, especially in a clean area, I dig them all!

M, love the rings! Awesome amount of quarters, with one being bent up you've got a whole roll in one day! Cool. Hit that one with a hammer.

I did hit the quarter back to its original flat condition and the coke machine still won't take it.

Guess that quarter goes to the lost cause bucket with about 800 zincolns....

That's a big haul!

You really worked that field properly. Those rings look very nice!

Congratulations!

Ridley

You got that right ridley...

I recall becoming really fatigued at the 3+ hour mark. I couldn't go anymore longer. Luckily, the weather was cool...
