RP and I got out today to a farmfield. We have found some old relics here this year, but we were disappointed when we showed up. We thought that the corn would be harvested by now, but it was not. But, we still detected the field for about 2 hours. RP found 3 musketballs and a spoon. We decided to try our luck somewhere else. We will be coming back here in the next couple weeks.

After leaving the last area, we decided to hit an old playground that has produced some old coins for us. I found a 1956 silver dime at 5.5".

RP ended the day with a 1944-P silver war nickel.

It wasn't our best detecting day, but we sure did have fun!
