Hello Shaun! I have good news for you .....
The climate here has changed from about 20 degrees cooler than last week! is much nicer ... but a little crazy. :-\
field soil is wet and is easier to find small metal artifacts .. but the mud and Rain are not good and I broke two pairs of boots this year .... besides the treasures do not go for a ride on the beaches . :laughing7:
Greetings! :hello:

They call them a "drag" here--and that is one GREAT find! Beautiful decoration. I like the bell too.

And your photos are wonderful.

Best Wishes,

Fantastic find! By the way, in the picture showing your metal detector, is that a castle in the background?

If are a Medieval Castle old which was remodeled in the 19th century ..... Several Historians Have Stated That the castle the can Have Their origins in the first third of the XIth century, When the church is Already documented, althoug the castle Does Not Appear explicitly Until the first half of the XIIth century
is the epicenter of all these fields and is one of the areas where more hunt because it is just 20 minutes from my house. I know the owners and allow me to hunt around .... first was a Roman villa, later over a castle in the 12th century and was important in the 19th century. It is a very nice and quiet place full of interesting findings. :D
