As I was eating my morning breakfast I was looking out the window awaiting sunrise. Out popped a figure from the shadows. Arg it was someone metal detecting the beach. Once I was on the beach I saw 3 detectorist, later 2 more joined us. A total of 6 people on the beach hammering away at the sand.

I am amazed that people dig holes in the sand next to their towel to hide their precious goods. How do they get back into their condo without their keys? Hahahaha

My finds this morning was:
Keys
9 quarters
8 dimes
2 nickels
12 pennys
15 pull tabs
10 bottle caps
1 hot wheels
Aluminium foil

happy hunting everyone.

Thanks for sharing...

My guess is they think "I don't want to lose my keys or what ever, so I will dig a hole and cover them up right by my towel and no one will know they are there to take it". Then mother nature works by blowing the towel down the beach or a kid picks it up and puts the towel in a different spot. Then they don't know exactly where the hole was. Item lost.

I'm heading out for another round of hunting.
