So, I mostly hunt for coins and jewelry. I have not been bitten by the relic bug. I have seen many videos about relic hunting and they just don't interest me. That being said, I may be ready to change my mind about relic hunting. On Sunday, I was hunting a local school looking for coins and...

I live in a rural area, and running through my property is the old country road, now not used and almost grown over. But back in the 19th century, it was the way to get to town and was pretty busy. Is this a good place to metal detect and what kind of things could i expect to find here. Any help...

I found this ~4.5 inch ~12 lb spherical chunk of iron in my dads woods near Athens GA. The property was a mule farm on the seaboard rail line around the time of the civil war and there were no battles / fighting in the area that I know of. It has an odd spherical hole that I drilled about 1/8"...
I dug this cross on Saturday and I'm wondering what this stamp means. My best guess is that the clasp or loop is 925 sterling but the cross itself may be silver plated? I thought it would be a simple Google search but it hasn't been.
Thanks

I just found a gold Spanish coin from 1817, the era of Ferdinand VII. The face value of the coin says 8 escudos. The mint place is abbreviated as F.M. Does anybody know how much it is worth?
Furthermore, what is the best place to sell it? Online or to a store?
I would appreciate if...
