I gripe about our weather here, but after hearing MA has a accumulative 107 inches of snowfall this year, I feel much more blessed. I don't think we get that much snow in five years.

Great video!!!! Thanks, I'm here in New York, looking forward to Spring 2015 !!!!! HH

Thanks from a fellow T-Netter in MA. I'm in my mid-40's and I've never seen this amount of snow in my life. Unreal. We should be back out there by mid-April... hopefully...

thanks guys!, extended forecast shows some highs in the 50s!!!

I sure hope you are right, that's an insane amount of snow, but you guys have an insane amount of history up there in MA, so I guess its a good tradeoff

That's what I thought last year, come the end of April, there was still snowbanks in front of all the class 6 roads I wanted to detect. Hopefully it won't be the same this year. There was no spring and the ticks came out swinging

Can't wait for it to be over! My furnace quit working on Saturday so I've been running my back up wood stove and space heaters for the last four days to keep the house warm. Had to burn two valuable vacation days in the process. I got so bored today I actually mopped and vacuumed all the floors and did two miles on the tread mill for something to do......Now that's gettin bad!

that's just keeping in shape for the detecting season!!

Ok, about the incredible amount of snow up north this year. Well, I was raised to always look for the positive
in any situation.

Ok. So it's evidently the largest amount of snow in recorded history!

Now, just how can I see something positive in this?

Let's just think about it.

Ummmmm, well, er...no.

Hmmmmmmmmmm......

Um.....

Well maybe! .........

No.....

Wait a minute, it'll come to me.

Ummmm.....

Let me think.....

Ummmm...

Ok.... so here's something! That ground up there hasn't seen this much snow in a millennium and you know how heavy snow can be! You guys
almost have a mini glacier up there! So.....now follow me here.... that incredible weight has been pressing down on that soil all winter now. So, it's
been compressing the soil. Therefore, when it finally melts away, you'll be standing closer to the targets that used to be to deep to detect!
Making those goodies closer to the surface! When you guys finally get back out there I'm predicting a BANNER season this year!

So once it melts, around Sept, you can expect some delightful finding!

No need to thank me! Just remember where you heard it first and see!

:)

Hey I just call that making lemonade out of lemons, or perhaps in this case, a lemon slushie??

I like your way of thinking!!!
