Sleepy's Most Wanted (Roosevelt Dimes)

After having searched through $7,110 worth of dimes, I figured I'd get a Whitman Coin book (1946-1964 Dimes). I'm going to make it my goal to fill it by the end of the year! To the right is my "Most Wanted" List to help keep track of my progress. I want all of my finds to be from CRHing, so I won't be purchasing any of them. Here goes nothing! :headbang: 1)1955

My Oldest coin prior to these two was two 1907 barber halves. These aren't worth anything, but I still think they're cool to add to the collection. :tongue3:

Aww man. Sorry buddy, we both had bad days.

Ah, it's okay...kinda told myself I wasn't going to hunt this week. It was a really busy week that required my full attention, but looks like I couldn't make it the whole week.

Guess it's what I was going to end up with anyway...just ended up with less time on my hands is all!

hang in there buddy, dimes have been bad for me too.. they will pick up again soon.

Someone musta dumped a bunch of common mercs into the system because that's all I've been finding lately.

i Agree! Not sure on your location. i am in the north east and i have pulled 22 mercury dimes out of boxes in the past 2 weeks. I searched i think 8 boxes. All common dates, some are very worn others are very nice condition. My 2 best dime boxes have come these past to weeks as well! I am also finding a lot of 1946,1947,and 1952D fdrs mixed in with the mercs. . The 52D are in AU condition. Hopefully the mercury madness continues! HH

An EPIC Return Kills Category 3: Finds #36, #37, #38

Wednesday

So I had to shut down the CRHing for a few weeks until I graduated college, but now it's back on. So what do we have in our first six boxes on the Return Tour 2013. Oh! A 1952-S dime! Just my 3rd 'S' mint FDR! Okay, another dime. A Skunk. WHOA!!! My old record of 7 dimes in one box...SHATTERED! 24 Dimes in Box #4 including a 1961!!! Nothing can top that! Okay, Box #5...WHOAAAAAA!!! 25 dimes including a 1955-S and a 1936 MERC!!!! Box #6 had another FDR to boot...INCREDIBLE return to the game! I guess it's true what they say: "Good things come to those who...do their schoolwork!" I will certainly never forget this day! Took me one box to break my new record of 24 dimes...haha. Overall, that was 52 dimes in my first day back, including 3 FDR's on the Most Wanted List. I'll take it!!

These pictures are terrible. I'll have to take individuals or something...or buy a new camera! :laughing7:

That is awesome, there's nothing like opening a dime roll with multiple silvers (or any denomination with multiple keepers)... and congratulations on finishing off college!

Congrats on finishing college, but frankly that isnt too hard
but finding 2 dimes boxes each with over 24 silver dimes is!!
Wow that is a lot of silver dimes!!
HH!!

(my best box is 21, my best CWR is $100 with 50 silver dimes)
